CTD Sindh arrests banned SRA terrorist from Karachi
KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh has claimed to have arrested a ‘terrorist’ linked with Sindh Revolutionary Army (SRA) near Ghagar Phatak Malir.
According to details, CTD Sindh conducted an intelligence base operation near Ghagar Phatak Malir in Karachi. Sajjad Shar, a banned SRA terrorist, was arrested in the operation.
During the preliminary investigation, the revelations of the arrested terrorists were revealed, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) CTD Asif Ijaz Sheikh said that the terrorist was planning a blast on the railway track on Bohar village Hyderabad.
The CTD said that the arrested terrorist was closed aide of outlawed SRA commander, Asghar Ali, and Noor Chandio and conveyed the message of the banned SRA Commander to Ghulam Shabbir, Bashir Sarang and Ali Shar.
Authorities said that the terrorists influenced the youthto join the SRA, the banned SRA terrorist Arbab Bheel imprison in Hyderabad Jail and provide ration to Arbab Bheel’s family.
Asif Ijaz Sheikh said that the arrested terrorists were being questioned further.
