Shortly after, a source close to the actress clarified that it was not an ‘accident’ and that she was unharmed. New reports now claim that a bouncer from the bungalow allegedly stepped out and slapped the bus driver.
The Free Press Journal reported that a BEST bus lightly collided with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s car near Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa bungalow on Juhu Tara Road. The incident triggered a scuffle, during which a bouncer allegedly slapped the bus driver.
Sources from the publication claimed that a local bus (number 8021, route 231) had just left the Juhu bus depot when a luxury car (MH02-GG-5050) slightly hit it. In response, the bus driver stopped to check the damage, but a bouncer from the bungalow allegedly came out and slapped him.
The driver responded by calling 100 and reporting the incident to the police. When the authorities arrived, the bungalow supervisor apologized for the bouncer’s actions. Choosing not to take legal action, the driver resumed his journey toward Santacruz station.
The police confirmed that no complaint was filed and resolved the matter amicably on the spot. However, the Bachchan family and their representatives have not issued an official statement about the incident.
A viral video showed a bus hitting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Toyota Vellfire VIP Executive Lounge from behind. Reports suggest that all of the “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” actress’s car numbers are 5050, which helped identify the vehicle involved in the incident.
After the video went viral, sources close to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirmed her safety. India Today quoted a source stating, “People close to the actor have confirmed that she is fine and there was no ‘accident.’”
