Lahore: National cricketer Fakhar Zaman is expected to resume batting practice after Eid, following his rehabilitation under the supervision of the PCB medical panel.
Fakhar Zaman’s Physical Assessment Scheduled After Eid
According to sources, Fakhar Zaman’s physical assessment will take place immediately after Eid. If he clears the assessment, he will be allowed to start batting practice. Currently, his rehabilitation is ongoing at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Fakhar Zaman’s Rehabilitation Progress
The left-handed opener is engaged in ground training and specific-duration running as part of his rehabilitation program. Additionally, he has been advised to practice deep breathing and gentle stretching exercises. However, he has been restricted from weight training at this stage.
Expected Return Before PSL
Sources indicate that Fakhar Zaman is recovering quickly and is expected to be fit before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). If his recovery progresses as planned, he will be available for selection in the opening match.
