Hina Khan performs Umrah amid cancer treatment, shares emotional moments

Actor Hina Khan, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, recently traveled to Mecca to perform Umrah during Ramadan. Taking to Instagram, she shared a series of pictures and videos from her spiritual journey, expressing gratitude and hope.

Dressed in a green outfit and sunglasses, Hina visited the holy site and shared an image of her hand touching the Holy Kaaba, captioned “Shifa” (healing). In another post, she wrote, “All set for Umrah,” as she prepared for the pilgrimage. A brief video she posted captured the large crowd gathered at Mecca, while another emotional moment showed a few strands of hair on her palm, with the caption, “Bus itne hi hain abhi (Only these are there so far).”

Accompanied by her brother, Hina expressed deep gratitude for the experience, writing, “Alhamdullilah. Umrah 2025.” She further added, “Thank you for inviting me, Allah… Overwhelmed and speechless. May Allah give me complete Shifa, Ameen.”

Hina was diagnosed with cancer in July 2024, shortly after completing the web series Griha Laxmi, in which she plays a housewife who unexpectedly becomes a drug lord. The series, directed by Rumaan Kidwai, premiered on EPIC ON and features Chunky Panday, Rahul Dev, and others.
