Saif Ali Khan and his family faced a turbulent start to 2025. On January 16, an intruder broke into the actor’s Bandra residence during a burglary attempt. When the house help raised an alarm, Saif confronted the attacker, who stabbed him multiple times with a knife. In a recent interview, Sara Ali Khan reacted to the tragic incident, calling it a stark reminder that life can change overnight. She also admitted, “It could have gone so wrong.”

The entire industry was shocked when news broke that an intruder had entered Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s well-protected home and brutally attacked the “Omkara” actor on January 16, 2025, around 2:30 a.m. Authorities rushed Saif to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he spent a few days recovering from his injuries before returning home in good health.

While Saif Ali Khan was in the hospital, Sara Ali Khan and other family members frequently visited him to monitor his recovery. Speaking to PTI about the incident, the “Kedarnath” actress said, “It could have gone so wrong, and I am so grateful that everything is fine. It was a reminder of the life we have.”

Sara emphasized that moments like these remind people to be grateful for their lives and recognize the fleeting nature of the things they chase. The young star revealed that the incident didn’t make her realize her love for her father, as she has known this for 29 years.
