Junaid Jamshed’s second wife, Raazia Junaid, appeared on a podcast where she spoke about his life, his emotions before the tragic plane crash, and his humble nature. She shared his final moments with the family, revealing that he felt anxious before leaving for Chitral. As a frequent traveler, he had just returned from the USA and mentioned how cold Chitral would be. He initially planned to stay for 5–6 days, but ended up staying for 10. Throughout the trip, he stayed in touch with his family, regularly messaging them thanks to network availability.
Raazia noted that he seemed unusually sad during that visit, as if he had experienced an epiphany. After completing her Iddat, she visited the site of the plane crash to find closure.
Raazia Junaid became emotional as she recalled how she found out about the tragedy. She shared that Junaid Jamshed was taking her Quran class when his manager called. He first asked if she was okay, then informed her that Junaid’s plane was missing. The manager immediately left for Abbottabad to investigate, while Raazia asked her son to check the internet. That’s when she learned the devastating news—the plane had crashed. Calls began pouring in, and people started arriving at her home, but in that moment, she couldn’t fully grasp what was happening. It was an incredibly emotional and overwhelming time.
