Mustafa Amir case: Key accused Armaghan’s father Kamran Qureshi arrested
The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) has apprehended Kamran Qureshi, the father of the primary suspect, Armaghan Qureshi, in connection with the Mustafa Amir murder case, police sources confirmed on Thursday.
According to SSP Anil Haider, AVCC officers carried out a raid at a residence in Defence Khayaban-e-Momin, where Kamran Qureshi was taken into custody. During the operation, authorities also seized a stash of illegal weapons and narcotics from the property.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, and investigations are ongoing to determine his suspected involvement in the case.
Officials described the arrest as a major breakthrough in the high-profile murder investigation, as law enforcement agencies continue to uncover details about the network linked to the accused.
