LPG Price reduced in Pakistan- Check rates here
People in Pakistan, already struggling with inflation, got some relief as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a cut in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This price drop comes just before the government is expected to review petrol prices.
OGRA confirmed that LPG prices have been reduced by Rs3.20 per kilogram, lowering the new rate to Rs245.16 per kg. This also means that the cost of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has gone down by Rs37.80 and will now be sold at Rs2,893.
The reduction is expected to ease some pressure on households that rely on LPG for cooking and heating, especially at a time when overall living costs remain high.

OGRA said the revised prices will be effective from May 1, 2025. The reduction comes amid fluctuating global energy prices and aims to ease the financial burden on households that rely on LPG for cooking and heating.
This latest move is expected to provide some much-needed relief to consumers, particularly in remote areas where LPG is a primary fuel source.
