Pakistan hands over 50 children to Afghan authorities

PESHAWAR: Frontier Corps (FC) authorities have handed over 53 Afghan children who illegally entered Pakistan through the Khyber District.

According to FC sources, 50 Afghan children and girls were detained in Pakistan by cut the  border fencing near the Torkham border crossing.

Sources said that the children have been deported to Afghan authorities on the Torkham border on the request of tribal elders.

According to FC sources, Afghan children smuggled foreign goods through Torkham.

Meanwhile, FC officials have demanded Afghan authorities to stop their children from entering Pakistan by breaking their fence.
