Prime Minister says Pakistan has overcome economic challenges

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday stated that Pakistan has attained economic stability through persistent efforts, while institutional reforms and structural improvements are underway to ensure sustainable national development.

In a special message marking Pakistan Day, the prime minister honored the nation’s founding leaders and underscored the importance of the Lahore Resolution of 1940, which laid the groundwork for an independent Muslim state in South Asia.

“Under the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal, our forefathers set a clear objective for the creation of Pakistan. The Pakistan Resolution serves as a guiding document, reminding us of our shared purpose,” he said.

He stressed that Pakistan, as an independent and sovereign nation, must remain committed to progress. “The green crescent flag flying above us symbolizes the unwavering faith and determination of our ancestors,” he added.

Shehbaz also acknowledged the contributions of Pakistanis in various sectors, including industry, education, and sports, highlighting their dedication in elevating the country’s global stature.
