Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemns blast in Noshki
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the blast in Noshki.
Expressing sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the explosion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the departed souls and extended his condolences to their families.
He also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and directed that they be provided with all possible medical assistance.
The Prime Minister further stated that such cowardly acts cannot weaken Pakistan’s resolve in the fight against terrorism.
Earlier, a blast occurred on the Dalbandin highway in Nushki, resulting in the deaths of seven people and injuring 43 others.
Helicopters arrived in Nushki to transfer the injured personnel to Quetta CMH Hospital, while security forces cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
According to security sources, terrorists carried out an IED explosion and a suicide attack on an FC convoy at Nushki this morning. Security forces immediately launched an effective counteroperation against the attacking terrorists.
Sources reported that in the initial response, three terrorists, along with the suicide bomber, were eliminated. In the cowardly suicide attack, three FC personnel and two civilians were martyred.
