BOLAN: The security forces successfully rescued 155 hostage passengers and killed 27 terrorists who attacked and hijacked Jaffar Express in Bolan District of Balochistan.

The terrorists are using suicide bombers innocent people while security forces are taking careful caution because of the hostages.

Earlier, 58 men, 31 women and 15 children were reported among the 107 passengers recovered while 17 were shifted to the hospital.

Last night, freight trains arrived at the Mach Railway Station with passengers under the supervision of security forces, while other rescued people are also being transported to safer places.

Security sources claimed that 27 terrorists have been sent to hell so far in the operation against terrorists.

According to security sources, terrorists are in contact with satellite phones with their overseas handlers and terrorists have been divided into small groups due to the operation of the forces. The additional forces are participating in operations in the area.

According to the railway officials, Jaffar Access was comprised of 9 bogies and more than 400 passengers were aboard the train. The train departed from Quetta at 9am on Tuesday morning, the passenger train was traveling from Quetta to Peshawar.

In the meantime, the track was first exploded and later firing was heard, after which the firing was exchanged between the security personnel and the terrorists on the train.

According to Levies officials, the Jaffar Express shooting took place in Peerokunri area of ​​Kachhi (Bolan) district of Balochistan, resulting in the train driver injured while the train was standing in the tunnel.

Security sources said that the terrorists stopped the Jaffar Express in the tunnel and took off the passengers. Despite the difficult and out of the road, the security forces reached the spot and launched a clearance operation by surrounded the area.

According to security sources, the majority of the hostages are women and children.

Spokesperson of Balochistan Government, a train driver was injured in the terrorist attack.

The emergency has been declared in Sibi and Quetta hospitals after the incident and an emergency desk has been set up at Quetta Railway Station.

Security sources said that forces were continuing the operation to rescue the remaining hostages.
