Imams for Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi on the 25th Night of Ramadan
On this sacred night, Sheikh Abdullah bin Awad Al-Juhani and Sheikh Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah will lead the prayers at Masjid al-Haram in Makkah.
At Masjid an-Nabawi ﷺ in Madinah, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmed Barhaji and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Al-Qarafi will lead the prayers.
Over 2.5 Million Worshippers Gather for 25th Night of Ramadan
More than 2.5 million worshippers have gathered at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi ﷺ for Taraweeh, Qiyam al-Layl, and supplications. Pilgrims and local residents are also engaged in Tawaf and Umrah on this auspicious night.
To manage the large crowds, 20,000 public security personnel have been deployed in Makkah and Madinah. The forces are monitoring corridors, ensuring crowd control, and using advanced communication and surveillance systems for smooth movement.
Security and Facilities for Worshippers
Saudi authorities have ensured the continuous availability of water, electricity, and Zamzam water for the convenience of worshippers. The rooftops, courtyards, and surrounding roads of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi ﷺ are witnessing an overwhelming number of devotees.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, prayers can be performed in designated mosques in Makkah and Madinah. Worshippers are also encouraged to pray in regional mosques, which also hold great rewards.
