The Audi Q6 e-tron electric SUV will be getting a new entry-level variant in the coming months, bringing the German marque’s Porsche Macan Electric cousin under $100,000 for the first time.
Priced from $99,900 before on-road costs, the new entry-level Q6 e-tron will effectively mirror the specification of the $15,000 dearer Q6 e-tron performance, though with a less powerful electric motor and smaller battery pack.
Currently, the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron range opens from $115,500 for the single-motor Q6 e-tron performance, climbing to $122,599 for the dual-motor quattro and $151,400 for the flagship SQ6 e-tron.

Having only just launched last month, Audi Australia has registered 18 Q6 e-tron units year to date according to VFACTS sales figures as of February 28. March’s figures may be more indicative of the Q6 e-tron’s popularity at launch.
The Audi Q6 e-tron is the first Audi model to ride on the Volkswagen Group’s all-new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) dedicated electric vehicle architecture co-developed with Porsche. Thus far, the Q6 e-tron shares its underpinnings with the Porsche Macan Electric, as well as the upcoming Audi A6 e-tron due here late in 2025.
Based on an 800-volt electrical architecture, all Q6s are underpinned by five-link front and rear suspension and fitted as standard with variable ratio steering. Entry versions get passive frequency selective dampers as standard, while higher grades upgrade to air suspension.
Audi Australia offers six years of complimentary roadside assistance, a 12-year corrosion perforation warranty, and an eight-year, 160,000km battery warranty. Purchase prices include the installation of a 7kW AC home charger, and a one-year Chargefox public charging subscription.
