Pakistani actor Tauseeq Haider recently addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Fawad Khan’s upcoming Bollywood film “Abir Gulaal”, where he responded to the backlash and discussed the broader cultural context between India and Pakistan.
In a viral video, Haider, who is also a part of the hit Pakistani drama “Meem Se Mohabbat”, shared his thoughts on the current tension between the two countries’ film industries. He pointed out that while India may attempt to stop the release of Pakistani films or television shows, Pakistani dramas have already embedded themselves deeply into Indian culture. “India may stop Pakistani films from releasing, but Pakistani dramas have already found a place in every Indian home. How will they remove them?” he remarked.
The actor called for unity, suggesting that both nations should come together to celebrate their artistic contributions and promote love and mutual respect.
